Our Team
Real people, real restaurant visits, real verified prices. Meet the team that researches and writes every menu guide on MenuPrices.us.
Who We Are
MenuPrices.us is run by a small team of food enthusiasts, researchers, and writers based in the United States. We share a common frustration: restaurant menu prices online are often wrong, outdated, or incomplete — and that wastes people’s time and money.
We built MenuPrices.us to fix that. Every guide on this site — from our Chick-fil-A pricing breakdown to our Dutch Bros full menu and our weekly Crumbl Cookies update — is researched and written by a real person who has visited those restaurants, verified those prices, and cross-checked the data against multiple sources.
Our Editorial Team
Lead Editor & Founder
Our founder launched MenuPrices.us after repeated experiences of finding outdated or simply wrong menu prices online. Based in the Southern US — the heartland of many chains we cover including Cook Out and Dave’s Hot Chicken — they oversee all content strategy, verify pricing standards, and approve every major guide before publication.
Menu Research Writers
Our writing team covers different regional markets across the US, which is essential given how much prices vary between states and even between cities. A Chipotle burrito bowl that costs $9.25 in a suburban Texas location might cost $12.50 in New York City — we capture these differences through multi-location verification rather than relying on a single source.
Nutrition Researcher
Our nutrition content is compiled by a team member with a background in food science who cross-references calorie counts, macronutrient data, and allergen information against restaurant-published materials. You’ll see this work throughout our guides — from the Applebee’s calorie breakdowns to the Wendy’s nutrition data.
Technical Team
Our technical team keeps the site fast, accessible, and up-to-date — including managing the weekly update process for rotating content like Crumbl Cookies and ensuring all our menu pages are accurate and easy to navigate on any device.
Research & Verification Process
How We Gather Prices
- Team members visit restaurant locations across the US and photograph menu boards
- Prices are verified across at least three locations before publication
- We provide price ranges rather than single prices to reflect real-world variation
- Dates are prominently displayed so you know how current the data is
Update Schedule
- Crumbl Cookies — updated every week (rotating menu)
- Core pricing pages — reviewed monthly
- New menu items and announcements — updated within 2 weeks
- Full site audit — quarterly
Reader Corrections
Reader-submitted corrections are our most valuable quality control mechanism. When a reader sends us a photo of a menu or receipt showing a different price than we’ve listed, we investigate and update within 5–7 business days. Email corrections to info@menuprices.us.
Our Standards
- Accuracy first: We never publish a price we haven’t verified. If we’re uncertain, we say so and provide a range
- Full transparency: We are openly independent — not affiliated with any restaurant chain. See our Disclaimer
- No pay-to-play: No restaurant pays us to be featured or to have their prices presented favorably
- Reader-first writing: We write for people making real dining decisions, not for search engines
- Honest limitations: We acknowledge when prices vary widely or when our data may be outdated
- Privacy by default: We collect minimal data and never sell user information. See our Privacy Policy
Work With Us
We occasionally bring on new contributors, particularly people who:
- Live in regions where we have gaps — the Pacific Northwest, New England, or the Midwest
- Have a background in nutrition, food science, or dietetics
- Are experienced food writers with hands-on knowledge of US restaurant chains
- Can commit to regular restaurant visits and timely price verification
We are not looking for AI-assisted content writers. We are looking for real customers who eat at these restaurants regularly and care about getting the prices right. If that’s you, email info@menuprices.us with the subject line “Contributor Application.”
